Who we are

This website is operated by MBX Networks, a Magnus Box company providing managed IT and technology services to businesses in Mid-Michigan (“we”, “us”, or “our”). You can reach us at [email protected] or (888) 933-2975.

This policy describes what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to mbxnetworks.com. It does not cover the systems we manage for clients under a service agreement; those are governed by the agreement with that client.

Information you provide to us

When you submit our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, approximate company size, the topic you need help with, and your message. If you contact us by email or phone instead, we collect the information you choose to share in that correspondence.

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, follow up about the services you asked about, and keep ordinary business records. We do not use it for unrelated purposes, and we will not add you to a marketing list without your consent.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, our servers keep standard technical logs: the IP address a request came from, the pages requested, the date and time, and basic browser information. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working, to prevent spam and abuse (for example, rate limiting repeated form submissions), and to diagnose problems. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to build profiles of visitors.

This site is delivered through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security service, which processes visitor requests (including IP addresses) on our behalf to protect the site from attacks and serve it quickly.

Cookies and analytics

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

This website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and general device and location information. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and processes this data on Google's servers under Google's privacy policy. We use this information only to understand how the site is used; we do not use it for advertising. You can prevent this collection with common browser privacy settings, content blockers, or Google's own opt-out browser add-on. Beyond analytics, this site sets no advertising cookies.

How information is shared

We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run this website and our business, such as our website hosting infrastructure, Cloudflare, our customer relationship management system (where contact form submissions are stored), and our email provider. These providers may use the information only to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our business, our clients, or others.

Data retention

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain reasonable business records, then delete it. If you become a client, information about our work together is kept for the duration of the relationship and as required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes.

Security

We take security seriously; it is what we do for a living. This website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to the systems that store inquiry data is limited and protected with multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we apply the same practices here that we recommend to our clients.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing [email protected]. We will respond to reasonable requests promptly, subject to any records we are required to keep.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new revision date. Material changes will be noted plainly rather than buried.
