Frequently asked questions

We already have backups. Why change anything?

You may not need to. A backup review checks what’s covered, where copies live, whether jobs are actually succeeding, and when a restore was last tested. If your current setup passes, we’ll say so.

Does Microsoft 365 need separate backup?

Yes, in most cases. Microsoft provides service availability and limited retention, but deleted or corrupted data, departed-employee mailboxes, and ransomware-encrypted files are your responsibility. Independent backup closes that gap.

How fast could we recover from ransomware?

It depends on the design, which is the point. With isolated, tested backups and a recovery plan, restoration is measured in hours to days rather than weeks. We define the target with you and build to it.
